Ask-the-Investors Events
MiQuest gives GLEQ Business Plan Competition participants and other entrepreneurs the opportunity to ask their questions in three Ask-the-Investors events around the state. A panel of venture capital, angel investors and other investing experts field questions and provide suggestions to help entrepreneurs build a better business plan. Networking times before and after the Q&A will provide an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs to be seen and heard. MiQuest is partnering with Bizdom, LEAP and Maker Works to bring these popular events in April. Click on the appropriate links and view panel participants, specific locations and other details.

MiQuest’s GLEQ Business Plan Competition
This spring, MiQuest is adding a new and exciting twist to the GLEQ Business Plan Competition – the Angel Pipeline. On June 17, the Top 20 participants in the competition will pitch their ventures to an audience of angel investors, including representatives from every angel group investing in early stage ventures in the state.

The GLEQ Top 20 entrepreneurs will:

- Have two minutes to pitch their venture during the Angel Pipeline breakout session at the GLEQ Awards Event
- Receive expert coaching in pitch-preparation sessions prior to the event
- Have a description of their venture included in the 2014 Investor Review Book
- Receive one free registration to attend the Michigan Growth Capital Symposium (immediately following the GLEQ Awards Event)

The 2014 Investor Review Book is being prepared exclusively for angel investors in attendance at the Angel Pipeline session. This is a not-to-be-missed opportunity for high-potential, early stage ventures to grab the attention of Michigan's angel investors.

Entrepreneurs must sign up by Monday, March 31, and submit a business plan or executive summary by Wednesday, May 14, to be in the running for the GLEQ Top 20.
